Explore Careers through Spider Shadowing

Spider Shadowing opportunities are now open for summer break!
Last year, Career Services kicked off our Spider Shadowing program, which allows you to explore career paths through half- or full-day job shadowing experiences without the commitment of a job or internship.

Why should I participate in Spider Shadowing?
Not only does job shadowing serve as an impactful way to learn about an industry, career path, or specific organization through direct exposure to the people, day-to-day work, and culture of a job, but unlike a lot of opportunities, Spider Shadowing is open to all full-time undergraduate students and no experience is required!

Sounds awesome! How do I apply?
Spider Shadowing couldn’t be more easy – with only three simple steps to apply! The deadline to apply for summer break is April 21, 2017.

Step One: Complete Resume Check
All you need to start applying for Spider Shadowing opportuninties is an approved resume through our Resume Check service! Learn More About Resume Check.

Step Two: Find & Apply for Opportunities
Once your resume is approved, find the opportunities in SpiderConnect, click “apply” for the ones that interest you (as many as you want!), attach your resume (and any other required documents) and click “submit!” It’s that easy. Watch a 20 Second Step-by-Step Tutorial.

Step Three: Host Will Contact Selected Students
After you apply, all you have to do is wait. The shadowing hosts will make their selections and contact the chosen students to schedule the shadowing opportunities. Notifications will be made after April 24. Questions? Email Us!
