Tip Tuesday: Spiders in Marketing & Communications Trip

Are you a Spider interested in the Marketing and Communications industries? Have you heard about our upcoming Spider Road Trip? Held on January 9 &10 during winter break, this trip allows students to travel to New York City to explore advertising, marketing, media and public relations and learn about career paths and opportunities from professionals in the field. Participants also have the opportunity to participate in a reception and dinner with young alumni working in the field.

We are currently still coordinating our employer stops, but last year’s trip included visits to the following organizations:
Hearst
Google
Hall and Partners
LeadDog Marketing Group
mcgarrybowen
Ruder Finn
Ogilvy

If you are interested, the application can be found on SpiderConnect (it’s listed under SpiderConnect opportunities) and the deadline has now been extended to Sunday November 25 at 11:59pm! There is a mandatory preparation session on Tuesday November 27 and then we’ll meet participants in NYC for the trip.
