Tip Tuesday: LinkedIn

Most people these days are connected on Facebook and Twitter, but have you discovered LinkedIn? Maybe you have heard about it and wondered if you really need to sign up for another form of social media. Of all, THIS is the one you do not want to miss. LinkedIn is the world’s largest professional network with over 175 million members, and growing larger every day.

On LinkedIn you can set up a personal profile similar to an online resume where you can display your work experience, internships, leadership positions, service, achievements, and more. It’s a perfect way to connect with a large network including classmates, alumni, faculty, staff and professionals in your field of interest.
